David Myerly Obituary

David F. Myerly, Jr. age 85, went to heaven on August 9th, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center after a short illness. Dave was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Jo-Ellen Myerly and both of his parents. He is survived by a sister, Bonnie Warehime (Oscar) of Westminster, MD. Dave was born on June 24, 1940 in Taneytown, MD and raised in Hagerstown, MD. He served honorably in the US Navy as a radar technician on the USS Beale and the USS Charles F Adams. Upon his discharge, Dave worked for AT&T in Bedminster NJ until his retirement. He was a dedicated member of the US Jaycees and traveled around the world attending JCI International Conventions. Additionally, he and his wife traveled extensively on Carnival Cruises, making friends wherever they went. In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of David F. Myerly, Jr. to "US JCI Senate Foundation". A scholarship has been established in his name. Please send any donation to: United States JCI Senate Foundation, 38-2680101 c/o Earl Sawyer, 747 Oak Hill Lane, Ballwin, MO 63021. Private cremation is being handled by Bradley Funeral Home, Whippany, NJ. No services are being planned per his wishes.
