David Virgil Myers was born on May 2, 1954, in Dawson, Minnesota, to Virgil and Dorothy (Linde) Myers. He attended Dawson High School, graduating with the class of 1972.

On November 28, 1981, David was united in marriage to Belinda Kellen at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Madison. To this union, two daughters were born: Jennifer and Melissa. They made their home in Dawson, where David worked at Midwest Trucking until his retirement in 2013.

David had a special gift for working with his hands. From woodworking to painting, he was extremely talented and creative. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and—most of all—spending time with his family. His grandchildren especially brought joy to his life and could always put a smile on his face.

David is survived by his wife, Belinda of Dawson; daughters, Jennifer Myers of Dawson and Melissa (Joe) Cecko of Osakis, MN; grandchildren, Logan, Jack, Aiden and Mason; sister, Deb Gebur of Dawson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dorothy; brother, Doug (Susan) Myers; and brother-in-law, Jim Gebur.
