David E. Nicholas, 70 of Watsontown, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home.

Born December 10, 1955 in Kelly Twp, Union Co, he was the son of the late John L. and Harriet L. (Snyder) Nicholas. On February 15, 1975 he married the former Annette S. Taylor and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.

David was a 1973 graduate of Warrior Run High School. He worked and retired from Asplundh Tree Company after over 40 years. Also, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Annette, he is survived by two sons: Jeremy D. Nicholas and his wife, Brandy, of Delaware, and Joseph S. Nicholas and his companion Kellie Ann, of Mechanicsburg; two daughters: Jennifer P. Snyder and her husband Albert, of Sunbury, and Julie A. Ault and her husband Trevor, of Montgomery; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and one sister: Dianne Nicholas, of Arkansas.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
