David Lee "Slick" Norwalk, 77, of Genoa, Ohio, late of Genoa, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord Last Tuesday, December 16, 2025, just nine days before his beloved family would all come home for Christmas. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 29, 1948 to Clifton O. and Lucille A. (Wilkins) Norwalk. After graduating high school David served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life on July 20, 1968 and together they created many life long memories. David was an avid bowler, throwing several 300 games and earning him a spot in the Bowling Hall of Fame. He had a passion for old cars and some of his prized ones would be his 57 Chevy Bellair and 64 Thunderbird. He also enjoyed collecting antique radios. David also enjoyed boating and received an award for his pristine Ski Natique. David was also an aficionado of lighthouses, loved to visit them, and even amassed a collection of many miniatures over the years. He was also a licensed barber from the time he came home from Vietnam, until the day he passed away in his home. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but what he cherished most was his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cathy; sons, Jeffrey (Kristy) Norwalk, Christopher (Monica) Norwalk; grandchildren, Bailey, Adeline, Jordan, Gavin, Patrick, Kaydin, Elyjah; siblings, Keith (Beverly) Norwalk, Thomas (Rebecca) Norwalk; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
