age 56, of Days Creek, Oregon, passed away at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday March 21, 2009, after a three year battle with Colon Cancer. He was born in Livermore, California on March 23, 1952, to Delbert and Lilliam (Montelius) Olmstead. He worked for O.D.T. Striping Crew for 18 years, before working for A & M Transport. He is survived by his mother, Lilliam Olmstead; two children, Martha and Michael Olmstead and fiance Valerie Warner; step daughter, Kelsie Desroche; devoted friend and special love, Anna Dobson; mother of his children, Karen Olmstead; two brothers, Rick and Doug Olmstead; sister Debbie logan and husband Butch; good friends, Carl Cragholm and Cynthia Parks; and numerous neices and nephews. David was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held in Canyonville, Oregon on April 25, 2009.
