David Michael Olson, age 52, of Hill City, MN, passed away Sunday, December 15th, 2024 with his Wife and Tank by his side.
Dave was born in 1972 to Keith M. Olson and Patricia A. Zorman in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. He graduated from Hill City High School. Dave served as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a Glazier, traveling all over the United States for work, and that led him to the Love of his Life, Jennifer. He then attended the Staples Heavy Equipment Operator program, where he received an Associate's Degree. For the past 13 years, Dave has dedicated his time to being the owner of Knuckleheads Bar and Grill in Hill City, MN. When he wasn't being 'The Boss', Dave could be found on his Harley, riding around town in his wheeler, tinkering in his garage, playfully picking on his employees at the bar or on the lake fishing, all with his dog Tank by his side. Amongst his many interests and hobbies, you'd find him spending time with his Wife, Children and Grandkids at the top of that list. Dave was known to shed a special kind of light on every situation, his laugh was truly infectious, his presence was a staple of happiness and gratitude in not only the community but the lives of anyone who had the pleasure to know him.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Eileen Moran and 5 Uncles (Maternal), and Grandpa Al Olson (Connie), Grandma Janiece (Jan) Helget.
David is survived by his beloved Wife, Jennifer Olson (Westart) and their Fur Child; Tank, Children; Christopher Olson (Ashley) and Alexus Wynne (Corey), his Mother; Patty (Dale) Zorman, Father; Mike Olson (Trish), Sister; Monika Thall, Step Sisters; Cassie Wakefield and Nicole Zorman, Grandpa Jim (Kathy) Barker (Paternal), Grandchildren; Madison, Emily and others. Amongst many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at Knuckleheads in Hill City, MN 12-3.
