A Celebration of Life Service for Dr. Overholt will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 3, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Patrick Woloszyn officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr.Overholt. I only learned today of his passing. It truly shocked and saddened me. He was a very kind and caring dentist and will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Dave and I spent a lot of time together as teenagers. We both went to Harkness Occupational Center, went to concerts together, spent countless hours talking, playing music, and watching movies. I still have the Yamaha guitar he sold me and just recently was thinking about him a lot because I got back into playing guitar. Dave always had an amazing sense of humor and he was a truly great guy to be around! Although I had not been able to talk to him in a long time or find him on social media, hearing of his passing was definitely a shock and I am deeply saddened. My condolences to his entire family.

My last appointment with Dr. Overholt was last October. He was then the only professional left at that address, and he said it was difficult to find doctors who were willing to move to Lake City. I was his patient for several years. He was thorough in his exams, very personable and soft spoken. I was shocked and very sad today to learn of his passing. I am so sorry for his family. May God richly bless them and may they have God's strength and comfort always.
