David Myron Park

David Myron Park was born in Blackfoot, Idaho on June 8, 1982 to Kevin James and Sheila (Love) Park. He moved with his family to Moscow when he was 3. He also lived in Parma, Idaho and Nyssa, Oregon before moving to Aberdeen, Idaho when he was 8. He was baptized there as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and progressed to hold the Melchizedek Priesthood. He attended school in Aberdeen starting with second grade and graduated from Aberdeen High School. He made an impression on many of his classmates, and they all loved him. A year or so after high school he moved to Blackfoot, Idaho, and with the help of the people at Dawn Enterprises he lived a very full, independent and happy life. While living in Blackfoot, he worked at Dawn Enterprises. He also worked at the dollar store and later at Walgreens. For years he bowled with the Special Olympics and was quite good. In Blackfoot, he was a member of the Blackfoot 3rd Ward where he spent time as a door greeter.

David was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Myron Earl and Orva LaRee Lilya Park and Gary Loyd Love. He is survived by his parents, Kevin James and Sheila Love Park; his grandmother, LaRee Barfuss Love; and siblings: Mandy (Ryan) Christensen, Brian (Marcela Farje (Park), Nathaniel (Cheileigh) Park, Laura (Richard) Tyler, Amber (Joseph) Brubaker, Kaia (Jordan) Pope, Cade (Valerie) Park, Tyson (Julia) Park, Jonathan (Nicole) Park, Zachary (Heidi) Park, and Whitney Park; along with 18 nieces and nephews.

David passed away in his home on January 16, 2026.

A viewing will be held at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot, Idaho on Sunday January 25, 2026 from 6-8 pm. On Monday, January 26, 2026, there will also be a viewing before the funeral at the Blackfoot 3rd Ward Building at 845 Grant from 10-10:45 with the funeral at 11:00 am.
