David Parrett Obituary
David John Parrett 83, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away peacefully 11:00 p.m., Friday September 12, 2025 at Brickyard Care Center in La Porte..
He was born August 7, 1942 in Michigan City, to Leland and Murtie (Carter) Parrett.
On August 8, 1964, he married Beverly (Metts) Parrett who survives.
David worked as a machinist for Joy Manufacturing for many years. He enjoyed playing poker, antique cars and country music. Over the years he developed many good friends and he will be greatly missed.
Also surviving is his son, Steven (Jodi) Parrett; five grandchildren, Aly (Chris) Webb, Nicki Hock, Zoey Hock, Karlie Webb, Emy Webb; son-in-law, Eric Hock.
David was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Hock; brother, Marlin Parrett; sister, Suzanne Krachinski
Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, (2129) 362-3333, is caring for the arrangements. Cremation has been selected.
