David Leonard Patton

David Leonard Patton, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2025 surrounded by the family that he loved so deeply.
Born on November 9th, 1944, he lived a life defined by strength, loyalty, and humor. He proudly served his country-first in the United States Army and later retiring from the United States Navy. He often said, with a smile, "I was a damn good soldier," and everyone who knew him agreed.

His family was the center of his world. He is survived by his devoted wife, whom he lovingly called "the rock of the family," his three daughters, two sons, and the grandson he dedicated his life to raising. His pride in them was unwavering, and his guidance, love, and steady presence will continue to shape their lives.

He found joy in simple pleasures: going out to eat, listening to music, cheering on the Dawgs, and spending time at the table playing dice with the people he loved. His laugh, his stories, and the way he could make any room feel lighter will deeply be missed. He leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and strength. Though his presence will be missed, the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those that knew him.
