He was a proud grandfather who cherished his moments spent with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed his time fishing with his grandson, Thomas. A gifted cook, David was known for grilling the best steaks and preparing hearty dishes such as gumbo, tomato gravy, and other gravy with rice, that brought family and friends together around the table. He found joy in woodworking and took great pride in caring for and nurturing his family.
David had a deep appreciation for family traditions, especially those spent at the camp with his extended family and cousins during lively crawfish boils. His kindness knew no bounds, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In the years leading up to his passing, David enjoyed traveling and sharing special moments with his dear friend, Becky Trosclair. His compassionate spirit and nurturing nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
