David A. Perkins

David A. Perkins, of East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2025, at the age 91.

David was a United States Marine Veteran who proudly served his country. In his earlier years, David was a milkman working at Leland Farm as well as a part time East Bridgewater Police officer. He was the oldest living relative of the founder of East Bridgewater Samuel Allen, the town in which he was so proud to have been living in. David later began to work for the Brockton Edison for many years, retiring as the head of customer service. He was an avid walker, enjoying many walks through the woods. He enjoyed traveling and took countless trips in his camper ""Box Turtle"" to visit family. David took trips to Atlanta, Arizona, Florida, and several trips to Alaska. David would often be found sitting in his kitchen watching the birds at his feeder and trying to scare away the many unwanted squirrels. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. David will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of the late Jane A. Perkins (Bacon). Loving father of Wally Perkins and his wife Sue of Sandwich, and the late Dick Perkins, Danny Perkins, and Louise Gall (Perkins). Father-in-law of Carla Perkins of Georgia. Adored grandfather of Derrick and his wife Lindsey, Scott and his wife Kaylin, Adelaine, Jared, Johnathan, Nathan and his wife Mya, Julie, and the late Jeffrey. Cherished great grandfather of Luke, Dylan, Kaylin, Sadie, Charley, Teddy, Anna, and Kira. Son of the late Henry P. Perkins and Anna Perkins (Leland). Caring brother of Martha Perkins of West Bridgewater, and the late Dick Perkins, and Donald Perkins. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends, especially his good friend and caregiver Skip.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
