David R. Perry, age 62, of Logan, Ohio, passed away December 16, 2024 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
David was born September 7, 1962 in Logan, Ohio. He worked for Logan Monument for 10 1/2 years, loved working on cars, riding motorcycles and being with his family.
Surviving are wife of 21 years Sandra Perry; daughters, Desirae (Timothy) Perry of Sugar Grove, Jessica (Allen) Perry of Columbus, Kassie (Dana) Bauman of Logan; son, Seth Bauman of Logan; grandchildren Gabriella Stevens, Blake Stevens, Hunter Stevens, Lilliana Bauman, Dylon Gillman, Bella Gillman, Edison Gillman, Janal Jenkins; brothers, Eddie (Ginger) Perry of New Straitsville, Ira (Christy) Perry of New Straitsville, and Robert (Jasmine) Perry of New Straitsville; sisters-in-law Jacqueline Perry of Logan, Rita Perry of New Straitsville, Marilee Perry of Vinton County.
David was preceded in death by his father Fredrick Perry; mother Letha Rollins Perry Keeler Davidson; brothers Robin Perry, Tim Perry, Ted Perry and Don Johnson.
Funeral services were held at 1 P.M., Saturday December 21, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Fidler officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 10 am – 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Hocking County Humaine Society or to an organization that helps with Kids Christmas Programs, such as, The Ebenezer Baptist Church of Logan.
