It is with a heavy heart and sadness that we announce the death of David Blaine Peterson, 68, of White Bear Lake, husband, father, grandfather, and son. David Passed away suddenly at home on November 17, 2023.
David is preceded in death by his father Franklin Peterson and sister-in-law Ret Lay.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Peterson; Sons Matt (Kelly) Peterson of Saint Paul and Kevin (Andi) Peterson of Hugo; and grandchildren Ava and Aidan Peterson. Mother, Elaine Peterson of Fort Madison, Iowa; and siblings Dick (Patricia) Peterson of San Antonio, Texas; Roberta (Doug) Danielson of Fairfield, Iowa; Don "Pete" Peterson of Fort Madison, Iowa; Jane (Tom) Finn of Batavia, New York; and Judy (Greg) Stuecker of West Point, Iowa; along with numerus nephews, nieces, and friends.
Dave was a very proud co-founder of the "Tour De Bar" in White Bear Lake and was a passionate Wild and Twins fan. He loved golfing with friends and was an avid cyclist where he participated in many MS150 bike rides throughout his life. David will be dearly missed!
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Monday, November 27, 2023 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN. with a visitation for 2 hours prior to the Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul, MN.
