David W. Pitcock

David Wayne Pitcock, age 70, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennett and Betty Pitcock; brothers, Steve Pitcock, Michael Pitcock; sisters, Cheryl Doub, Vickie Marlin, Faye Shutt; and grandson, Ryan Steelman.
Survived by his children, Tony (Renee) Pitcock, Stacy (Jamie) Steelman; grandchildren, Dakota (Shalyn) Philips, Nick Morocco, Jordan Steelman, Baylor Steelman, Gabrielle (Caleb) Morgan, Tabitha (Corey) Moody, Levi Pitcock, Willa Morocco; great grandchildren, Remi Moody, Ryker Moody, Olivia Morocco, Ripley Moody; sister, Sheila Pitcock; brother, Sammy (Cheryl) Pitcock; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
David was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. Throughout his life, David's faith in Christ remained steadfast and unwavering.
Over the last 54 years, he owned and operated House of David in Nashville, TN and Cutting Loose Hair Salon in Green Hills, Tennessee where his passion for hair and clients came together in what he would call, his "masterpiece haircuts." He devoted his time to his shop and his relationship with his clients who were more like family to him. He always made sure they felt welcomed and loved when they walked in. Most of his clients would say that he was not just their hair stylist but a close friend and part of their family. David was passionate about his work and his family. He deeply loved them all, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren always held a special place in his heart.
There will be visitation Friday, April 14, 2023 from 3:00PM-7:00PM and Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:30AM-11:30AM with a Celebration of Life at 11:30AM and burial to follow, all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home (9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN, 37221).
