Ronnie V. Gregory, age 62, of Pleasant View, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born in Tompkinsville, KY, on December 24, 1962, Ronnie was a beloved member of his community and family.
Family and Loved Ones
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ray Gregory; mother, Geneva Todd; step-father, James Todd; brother, Donnie Gregory; and son, Bryan Gregory. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jody Calhoun Gregory, of Pleasant View, TN; his daughter, Taylor Hayford, and her husband, Nathan, of Nashville, TN; his step-mother, Willodean Gregory, of Portland, TN; and his grandson, Miles Hayford, of Nashville, TN. Ronnie is also survived by his brother, Jimmy Gregory, and his wife, Mary Ann, of Glasgow, KY, and his sister, Linda Anderson, and her husband, Jerry, of Glasgow, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Education and Career
Ronnie graduated from Gamaliel High School in 1981 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky in 1985. He worked as a state and local tax professional at CliftonLarsonAllen.
Passions and Legacy
An avid sports fan, Ronnie especially enjoyed cheering for Kentucky Wildcats basketball, Notre Dame football, and New York Yankees baseball. He cherished time with his grandson and family, and his devotion to loved ones was evident to all who knew him. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Celebration of Life
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the home of his brother, Jimmy Gregory, on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 3767 Mt Pleasant Rd Glasgow, KY 42141
A private interment will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Ronnie here. https://bloodcancerunited.org/
