Dorothy Gregory Obituary
Dorothy was born on October 11, 1939, in Griffin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Entrekin Crawford; her first husband, Bobby Evans, Jr.; and her son, Bobby Alton Evans.
Dorothy dedicated her life to loving and serving others. She retired as Daycare Director at First Assembly of God, where she was also a devoted longtime member. Over the years, she faithfully served in many roles, including Sunday School teacher, Missionette leader, and member of the Prime-Timers Sunday School class. Most recently, she was a faithful member of Rock Springs Church, where she continued to serve and worship.
Dorothy's life was a testament to the love of Christ. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronnie Gregory; sons, Marty D. Evans (Darlene) and Timothy Mark Evans; daughter-in-law Chris Evans; stepchildren, Cathy Smith and Mike Gregory (Lisa); grandchildren, Janna Ennis (Caleb), Holly Evans, Cody Evans, Stephanie Chappell Haynes (James), and Monica Gleason; step-grandchildren, Rachel Gregory, Sarah Gregory, and Hannah Smith; great-grandchildren, Kacie Evans, Alysia Gleason, Gavin Gleason, Madeline Haynes, Evelyn Haynes, and Bailey Smith; sisters, Marie Maderson and JoAnne Anderson; brother, Ricky Crawford (Sara); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her deeply.
Dorothy's legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation celebrating Dorothy's life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Griffin, Georgia. A funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary, with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow at Westwood Gardens.
