Edgar Wright Obituary
Edgar was born in Barnesville, Georgia on February 15, 1953. His parents, Melvin Eugene Wright and Marie Ridgeway Wright, siblings, Brenda McNeal, Betty Steger, Elizabeth McDaniel, Sara Evans, Myrl Wright, Larry Wright, and Thomas Wright, all preceded him in death. He retired from Jones-Harrison Furniture Company. Edgar was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Edgar would describe his grandson as "his heartbeat" and his reason for living. Grandson Thomas Edgar Baugh would refer to Edgar as "POP". Edgar loved working in the yard and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Wright; daughters, Justina Wright and Cassandra Baugh, son-in-law Todd Baugh, Grandson Thomas Edgar Baugh, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a graveside funeral service in Oak Hill Cemetery. Evangelist Ben Dunn will officiate.
