After bravely serving his country in the United States Army from 1956 to 1964, David returned to his roots in North Carolina where he met and married Suzanne Pliner. Their enduring partnership of 62 years was filled with mutual respect, laughter, and an unbreakable bond.
A man of many passions, David channeled his interests into a successful career as a Real Estate Broker. As the owner and partner at Queenstowne Realty, he was known for his integrity, thoughtfulness, and an unwavering commitment to his clients and colleagues. His professional success was mirrored in his active involvement in community associations, where he generously shared his expertise and time.
David's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne; his children, Eric Pliner, Jill Pliner (David McIntyre), and Andy Pliner; his grandchildren, Haley McIntyre, Kate Pliner, and Raven Pliner; and his brother, Robert Pliner. Each family member was touched by David's loving nature, and he was a role model for all, teaching by example the virtues of kindness and respect.
In addition to his family, David's interests were a reflection of his multifaceted personality.
