We celebrate the remarkable life of David Potts, who was born on November 3, 1971, in Camden, NJ, and left us on February 13, 2026. David, a lifelong resident of Camden , New Jersey, never let the confines of his physical world limit the expansiveness of his soul or the depth of his heart. He was a man of great personal strength, unyielding resilience, and boundless love for his family and those around him. As Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." David embodied this spirit throughout his life, touching countless lives with his warmth, kindness, and compassion.

David was a beacon of love and support to his wife Monet Brown, his mother June Tayari Horcey and his sister Capri Battie. He was a loving husband, a devoted son, and a cherished nephew. His spirit will forever be a guiding light to them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Harris and his brother Leon Horcey. His legacy within his family is built on a foundation of love, wisdom, and strength that will continue to inspire and guide them.
