David Andrew Pyle, 56, Brownsburg, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on June 12, 2023. David was born August 6, 1966, in Beech Grove, to the late James Pyle and Peggy (Dean) Redding, who survives.
David grew up in Mooresville and graduated from Mooresville High School in 1984. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 9 years. David worked for Best Way Disposal for 20 years and was involved in engineering with Rolls Royce through Best Way. Most recently, he was as master technician for FedEx.
David enjoyed billiards and playing pool competitively in a few leagues. He was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the St. Louis Blues, Cincinnati Reds, IU Basketball, and Jeff Gordon. An outdoorsman, David always looked forward to annual fishing trips to Lake Erie and Canada. Always one to stay busy, in his spare time, he owned and operated a sign business and a car detailing business through the years. He also embraced technology, computers, and staying current with all the latest advances. David will be remembered for his quiet manner, his determination, and love for family.
Survivors include his only child, Elyssa Pyle; mother and stepfather, Peggy and John Redding; brother, Jeff (Angie) Pyle; step siblings, Lisa (Danny) Shaw and Greg (Missy) Redding; niece, Ashley (Curt) Tyler and their children, Cameron and Addison; cousin and best friend, Bob Dean.
David’s Life Celebration® Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 East High Street, Mooresville. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 5 to 7 p.m., with the service following at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. David will be inurned at the Crown Hill Columbarium Annex following a private service on Thursday. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
