David Wayne Pyron, 68, Rockford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in DeKalb. He was born on November 18, 1956, the son of Jimmy W. Pyron and Betty Gray in Sterling, IL. He married his wife, Connie (Harrington) Pyron, on November 17, 2001, in Janesville WI.
He was a man who loved to be outside, with his family, traveling with his wife and friends, and enjoyed riding his electric bike. He found joy in going to parks like Rock Cut where he would sit and watch the people and boats. He loved listening to many kinds of music and most recently Gospel Blue Grass . He was a man of deep faith and was an active member at Maywood Evangelical Free Church. He loved to read, strengthening his faith by reading and studying the Bible, and listening to strong men of faith online, or anything related to the word of the God. He lead many Bible Studies and was a leader in church over the years serving in many leadership roles.
David is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Justin Pyron, Jared Pyron, Sarah Turner (John), Seth Schnoor (Darby), and Samuel Schnoor (Christian); his grandchildren, Lillian, Parker, and Roen; his siblings, Daniel Pyron (Britney), Michael Pyron, Julie Emmert( Steve ), Laurie Scott(Breed), Dawn Warfield (Tino), and Todd Warfield; he is preceded by his parents, Jimmy Pyron and Betty Gray.
A Memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00 am, with a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service at Maywood Evangelical Free Church, 3621 Samuelson Rd, Rockford, IL 61109.
