David Mitchel Reeves, Jr., 30, of Plattsburgh, New York, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 10, 1991, the son of David and Tammy (Jabaut) Reeves Sr.
David graduated from Beekmantown High School, where he enjoyed football, chess club, bowling, and riding motorcycles. After high school David went on to become a proud Marine. He was a jack-of-all-trades and put his heart into any job he was given. He always thanked Pa for his knowledge as an electrician and mechanic.
David was a Mopar man, and loved his trucks and toys. He loved music, singing, campfires, cooking for his family, the outdoors, any great adventure and all animals. David was genuine, a loving & loyal father, husband, brother, son and friend. He will always be remembered for his giant heart, infectious smile, wit, humor, hard work and love.
Let us never forget his animated stories, his amazing energy, or his laugh. He will live on through us all, and may we hold his memories dear for this lifetime.
He is survived by his wife Carli (Newgarden) Reeves, four sons, Ryland, Owen, Dawson, Sawyer, one daughter, Raelynn, sisters, Nika K. Reeves and Cheyenne M.Z. Reeves, grandfather, William A. Jabaut and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father David Reeves, Sr. and Mother, Tammy A. (Jabaut) Reeves, grandmother, Katherine B. Jabaut and grandmother, Veronica (Reeves) Bradstat.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
