George A. Beatty Jr., 65, of Plattsburgh, New York passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the UVHN:CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on October 11th, 1959. The son of Leslie Stannard and Louisa (Vincent) Stannard.
George graduated June 24, 1978 from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park. He was in the Navy from 1978 to 1984. He worked 9 years as a Union Electrician for Staff Lighting in Highland, New York.
He is survived by his mother, Louisa Stannard-Aiston; his siblings, Diane O'Keefe (Jim), Sally Pardee (Jeff), Lisa Stannard and Larry Stannard (Jenny); several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Leslie Stannard in 2002.
A graveside Servcie will take place on October 3, 2025 at St. Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Turnpike , Poughkeepsie, New York 12603
