On Friday December 5, 2025, David Vinson Renfroe loving father & brother passed away at the age of 58.
David was born on July 6, 1967, in Jacksonville, FL to Buddy & Shirley Renfroe. He grew up in Gainesville, FL and after graduation he received his HVAC certification at Santa Fe College. He worked as a refrigeration technician and later a supervisor at his father’s company AAA Refrigeration where he continued to work for most of his life.
David was always a carefree happy-go-lucky kind of guy who loved and enjoyed his family and friends. His passion was Miami Dolphins and Florida Gator Football. He loved cooking and grilling for his family and friends. His other interests included hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Drew Renfroe and Grant Renfroe; daughter, Elena Renfroe; brother, Danny Renfroe (Mary); sister, Sheri Kerce (Troy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Buddy Renfroe; his mother Shirley Renfroe; and brothers, Ronald and Donald Renfroe.

Services to honor David's life will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Lake Butler Church of God. 480 SW 3rd Street, Lake Butler, FL. A visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. David will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 at 2:30pm the same day.
