Dear Rettinger Family, We are sorry to hear of David's passing. He has been instrumental in assisting your mother since my relocation to North Carolina. I fondly recall the times from my childhood when David's presence seemed gigantic. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

David was a great backhoe man that I was able to work with for many years, when he would call for an inspection he needed or dig pits for soil evaluations that I needed. He always was conscientious of his installation work and was a pleasure to work with and know. He loved his dear wife, and often spoke of her. I will miss him, as so many of you will.

Woody Wimmer also was a friend to David and we know what a kind person he was as well as a hard worker. He, very recently, dug up areas on a piece of our land so we could find out if it perked. His health was a concern that he was just finding out about at the time. May God reward him for a life well lived and for the kindness he showed others.
