David M. Rhue Jr.

David "DJ" Rhue Jr. died peacefully in his home on April 17, 2023, after a long battle with kidney disease. Born July 13, 1998, to his parents David Rhue and Jennifer (McMaster) Boutwell, he was the oldest of three siblings. He grew up in the Toledo area graduating from Rossford High School in 2017. He went to PENTA to learn about becoming a Medical Technician. While he was able, he worked for Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg for a number of years.
DJ lived his life mostly keeping to himself. He loved video games of all kinds and was creative and funny once he opened up. You could almost always find him with a Red Bull in his hand and he loved candy.
He will be dearly missed by his mother, Jennifer Boutwell; siblings, Tabitha Rhue, Luke Rhue; maternal grandparents, Connie (Rick) Williams, David McMaster; aunt, Erin (Ellis Mason); cousins, Austin, Payton, Jayden, Jacob, Jaylee, Gage and Aaliyah. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Matt McMaster. Services will be private to honor DJ's wishes.
