Naugatuck - David L. Roberts Sr., 77, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Angela (DelSanto) Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was born April 24, 1948, in Waterbury, the son of the late Louis and Jane (Scanlon) Roberts. He owned and operated Roberts and Sons Excavating in Naugatuck. Some of his greatest joys were his two boys and working hard on his backhoe.
Besides his wife of 53 years, Mr. Roberts is survived by his son, David Roberts Jr., and his grandchildren, Alyssa and Christina Roberts; his sister Patricia Kawecki (John); several nieces and nephews, as well as many family members and longtime friends. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son Christopher and his sister Nancy Toffey.
Arrangements – Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Wooster Cemetery and there are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
