David A. Rock 77 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his home. He was born June 3, 1946 in Ravenna, Ohio to Frank and Mary (Mendiola) Rock. David was a Product Development Engineer for Eaton Corporation and the owner of Bedrock Tanning in Ravenna. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Diane (Dohse), daughter Lisa (Jeffery) Higgins, grandchildren Michael Golgosky, Jr. and Jaret Golgosky, great grandchildren Michael Golgosky III and Magnolia Golgosky, brother Frank (Janell) Rock, Jr., niece Megan Rock, nephews Jeff and Joe Rock and Marcquis and Tony Parham and his beloved dog Rosebud. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Christina and Tina Marie and a brother Jeff Rock, Sr. Memorial calling hours will be from 3 PM until time of memorial service at 7 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Rose's Rescue, PO Box 33, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.

The class of RHS64 sends our condolences to the family. Dave will continue to live in he hearts of those he touched. Dave was always available to lend a hand in time of need. We know that a day will come when Dave will be there to welcome each of us.
