David Robert Rodway

David Robert Rodway of Clinton Township passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 57 years.
David was born on December 26, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a son of Harry and Anne (nee Rusanchin) Rodway. On May 12, 1984, he married Janet Fantauzzo in Detroit. He worked as a machinist and electrician for the tool and die industry for many years before his health forced him to retire early. David never let anything stump him. He was wise; always thinking how to make, fix or remodel anything and everything. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATV's target shooting, listening to music, farming and working on the farm equipment. He would do anything for anyone. Dave was honest and caring. He loved spending time with his family and he could cook up a Storm!!. Dave's passing has left a hole in the soul of his family and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jan; sons, Anthony (Jessica Black) Rodway and Michael Rodway; twin brother, William Rodway; sister, Anne-Marie Rodway-Tomich; nieces and nephews, Clair, Noel, Tiffany, Joseph, Nicholas, Chelsea and Brian; and many extended family and friends. David was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Anne Rodway.
A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
