Mr. David Brian Rogers, age 70, of 108 Bridletrail Lane, Union, husband of June Gibson Rogers, went to be with the Lord, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Mr. Rogers was born July 9, 1955, a son of the late Dana G. Rogers and Martha Carter Rogers. He was a 1973 graduate of Union High School, the University of South Carolina at Union and Limestone College. He was the Bus Manager at McMurry-Deck Car Dealership and GMC of Forest City. Mr. Rogers was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. He was an avid Gamecock fan.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 49 years are a sister, Dana K. Adams of Spartanburg; his mother-in-law, Patricia Baber Gibson of Lockhart; two sisters-in-law, Patti G. Hand and husband Kenneth of Lockhart and Julie G. Shugart of Union; two fur babies, Freddie and Zeke; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Sue R. Wilson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Chaplain Reche Ballenger and Rev. Alex Calhoun.
Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their care and compassion during Mr. Rogers illness.
