David Andrew Romo, 58, of San Antonio, TX, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 11, 2024.
David was born January 25, 1966, in Anaheim, California to Daniel James Romo and Linda Lee (Dawson) Romo. He attended United High School in Laredo, TX. In his youth, David could be found playing on his drums in his band with friends or listening to his favorite music from artists such as Budgie, Judas Priest, KISS, and Black Sabbath. He was an avid reader and enjoyed books by Stephen King and Louis L’Amour. When David had children, he enjoyed vacationing with his family, trips to Las Vegas, and going to the Majestic Theatre.
One of the activities that brought David the most joy was cooking a bountiful meal and enjoying it with those he loved. This was especially true when there were burgers, Louisiana Hot Sauce, hot wings, Coca-Cola, or pizza involved.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Daniel Romo and Phillip James Romo, both of Victoria, TX, Jacob (Reyna) Rothenbach of Anna, TX, and Andrew (Jennifer) Rothenbach of Beeville, TX; his parents, Daniel and Linda Romo of Laredo, TX; a brother, Kevin (Sandra) Romo of Laredo, TX; and a sister, Amy (Marla) Romo-Loomis of Round Rock, TX. He was also blessed with his grandchildren, Delilah Joy Romo and Eleanor Roselee Romo, both of Washington, D.C. and Jacob Thomas Reid, Isaac Andrew Rothenbach, Mason Christopher Rothenbach, and Madison Regina Rothenbach, all of Anna, TX.
