David W. Roper

David "Dave" Wilbur Roper, lifelong Braintree resident, passed away on March 31, 2021, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 71. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Cecil, and brother, Robert "Bob". Dave is survived by his siblings, Barbara Souza, Paul and his wife Marie, Pauline Roper, sister-in-law, Diane Roper, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dave was born in Weymouth, on December 10, 1949, and raised in Braintree. He graduated from Braintree High School, Class of 1967. Dave retired after many years of working as a member of the Teamsters Local 25 at Jordan Marsh Warehouse in Quincy. Visitation in the Peck Funeral Home Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
