David was employed as an equipment operator by the Keystone Cement Co., Bath, for 36 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Race Street Baptist Church, Catasauqua. An army veteran, Korea Era, he served in Panama and achieved rank of Cpl.
Survivors: wife. daughter, Joan M. wife of Frederick Lesko of Pleasant Valley, AZ, stepdaughter, Beverly, stepsons, Craig and Robert, grandchildren, Austin, Hayden and Jessica. sisters, Catherine Zieserl of Bath, Dorothy wife of Joseph Smar of Bethlehem. brothers, Walter F., Jr. of Whitehall, Elwood M. of Trexlertown, Vernon C. and wife Rita of Coplay. several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, LeRoy and Orrin K.
Services: 10:30AM Wednesday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 9:30-10:30AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment W/ Military Honors, Zion Cemetery, Kreidersville Road, Allen Twp. Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com

David, you stand relieved from your post. A job well done fellow war veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
