David Norman Schostek

DAVID NORMAN SCHOSTEK, of Aurora. March 27, 1938-March 14, 2026. Army Reservist. Beloved husband of Marianne (nee Kappenhagen) married 63 years; loving father of Daniel (the late Lisa), Tom (Lisa), and the late Terence Schostek; cherished grandfather of Stephen, Matthew, Emily, Anna, Sasha, and Maryanne; dear brother of Don (Mary Lou) Schostek. Family will visit with friends at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 S. Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls from 10AM -11AM Thursday, March 19, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

David was a proud St. Ignatius High School graduate of 1956 and attended John Carroll University. He was inducted into the Army in 1961 and served in the Ohio National Guard until 1963. David and Marianne were married August 25, 1962. David worked his entire career with General Motors and retired as a manager of education and training. He coached CYO basketball and Little League baseball. He was an avid CAVS fan, loved gardening, Hilton Head Island, and playing the game of golf.
