David Gerald Schramm, "Jag," age 50 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away
unexpectedly Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
David was born May 8, 1972 in Oconomowoc, WI to Lucille E. (nee Stern) and
Gerald J. Schramm. He graduated from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI,
class of 1992. David worked in printing, machining, and most recently in
heating and cooling. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, working on cars
and had a great appreciation being outdoors. He also enjoyed listening to
country music, RC cars, McDonald's dates with his grandma Pearl, cooking and
especially grilling his famous ribs, and spending time with his family.
David is survived by his children, Colt, Tyler, and Nicole Schramm, and Megan
Johnston; companion and best friend for 26 years, Alanna Schramm (mother of
Nicole and Megan), and former wife, Michele Getter (mother of Colt and Tyler);
mother, Lucy Krapfl (late Gerald J. Schramm); and siblings, Sue (Dennis) Voigt,
Irene (late Edmund) Glodowski; Joe Schramm, Mark (Jackie) Schramm, Evett
(late Donald) Hartvig; Carl (Leslie) Schramm, Linda (Joe) Herrick, Debbie (late
Art) Schlafer, Brian (Susie) Pitsch, and Sandy Pitsch. He is further survived by
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents; son, Jeremy Johnston; niece
and Goddaughter, Danielle Ebert; nephew, Andrew Hartvig; and stepfather,
Gilbert Krapfl.
Funeral Service for David will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union Street, Hartford, WI 53027, with Pastor Scott
Moore officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on
Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-1:45p.m. Interment in the Gardens of Stonebank
Cemetery, Hartland, WI, will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of David are appreciated in care of
Tyler or Colt Schramm.
