Mary "Eileen" Polzin passed away peacefully at the Aurora Medical Center of Hartford, at the age of 98 years old. Eileen was born May 25, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John Maurice and Hazel Zilda (nee Bassett) Murphy. Eileen married Edward Polzin on July 8, 1961, at Mother of Good Counsel Church in Milwaukee.
Eileen worked at an art studio at Schuster's Department Store, and the Milwaukee Journal as a bookkeeper. Eileen enjoyed painting and was still painting up until her death.
Eileen is survived by her daughter Joan Hall (James Thomson) and son John Polzin; grandsons, Nathan (Raschelle) Hall and Dillon Hall; great-grandsons, Cashton, Lincoln and Kodiak Hall. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; sisters, Jeanne Doucette, Betty Mae Fuchs, Margaret Weigman; brother, Richard Murphy; along with other relatives and friends.
A prayer service will be held Thursday, October 9. 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Berndt Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main Street Hartford, WI 53027. Interment in Glenview Memorial Park, W1219 Glenview Avenue Ixonia, WI 53036.
Contributions in memory of Eileen will benefit her great-grandchildren's educational funds and are sincerely appreciated.
