David Scott Obituary
Mr. David Marlin Scott, 84, of Saint Johns, FL, formerly of Middleton, departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2025, in Orange Park, FL.
A native of Memphis, he lived in Hardeman County most of his life and had lived in Florida for the past 2-3 years. The son of the late Wesley Marlin and Margueritte Smith Scott, he was a 1958 graduate of Middleton High School and retired from Dover Elevators in 2003. Mr. Scott served in the US Navy, out of high school, from 1959-1963 and was a faithful member of Porter's Creek church for 40 years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
His survived by his wife, Joyce Scott, whom he married on July 5, 1979; two step-sons, William Earl Roseberry of Dickson, TN and Robert Lee Roseberry of Saint Johns, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Jo McKee.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
