Le sobreviven su madre, Ana Reyes de Serna; sus hermanos Carlos Serna (María), Sergio Serna (Magda) y Germán Serna (Claudia); sus hermanas Yolanda Serna, Marisa Serna y Amilia Serna; sus sobrinas Nicole Serna, Lani Serna e Isabel Serna; y sus sobrinos Carlos Serna, Sergio Serna, Daniel Serna, Germán Serna e Iván Serna.
La velación se llevará a cabo el viernes 6 de junio de 2025, de 5:00 a 6:30 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica del Santísimo Sacramento, seguida de la Misa funeraria a las 6:30 p.m. en el mismo lugar.
Obituary (English)
David Serna, 65, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on May 31, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Tuxpam, Veracruz, Mexico, on December 23, 1959, to Daniel Serna and Ana Reyes de Serna.
David had a deep love for food. He enjoyed both cooking and eating, and his joy for life extended to traveling-especially trips to Memphis. He cherished his freedom and lived life on his own terms. He attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Serna.
He is survived by his mother, Ana Reyes de Serna; his brothers Carlos Serna (Maria), Sergio Serna (Magda), and German Serna (Claudia); his sisters Yolanda Serna, Marisa Serna, and Amilia Serna; nieces Nicole Serna, Lani Serna, and Isabel Serna; and nephews Carlos Serna, Sergio Serna, Daniel Serna, German Serna, and Ivan Serna.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, followed by a funeral Mass at 6:30 p.m. at the same location.
