It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Scott Shynk, 62, announces his unexpected passing on Monday, December 20th, 2025, at his home in Manchester, NH.
David was born in Lynn, MA to the late John and Ann (Nadeau) Shynk. He was raised in West Peabody and later moved to Framingham, where he graduated from Framingham High School. He is survived by his sister Mary Clayton of MA and his brother John Shynk of CA. He was the proud Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Webster, and his brother, Mark Shynk.
Dave enjoyed spending time with family fishing in Boston Harbor, going to Hampton Beach boardwalk, and hiking and camping on Mt Washington with his brother Mark. Dave's favorite places to travel were Colebrook, NH, New York City (a tour of the Intrepid), Old Orchard Beach Maine, and the beaches and Cliff Walk in Newport, RI.
He will be remembered for making home movies documenting family gatherings through video and photography. Dave enjoyed cooking and was a lover of all foods but most of all seafood. He was outgoing with a good sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to talk politics with family and friends.
The family is planning a private memorial.
