David Karl Siebach passed on May 16th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones in Herriman, Utah, at the age of 72. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gerhard and Bertha Siebach on March 13th, 1952, and lived most of his life in Sandy, Utah.
David loved his work as a Driller and owner of Antique Wholesalers and EarthTec Drilling. He also later worked as a Geotechnical lab worker. He enjoyed camping, fishing, building guns, and being in the desert. He had a deep love and knowledge of rocks and fossils and enjoyed weekend trips looking for new ones.
He was a lover of life. Enjoyed being with his family and loved animals and all living things. Whether it was raising chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits, and dogs, he enjoyed being around animals.
What made him special was not only how he loved those close to him but also how he taught others to love. His love was unconditional. He was full of laughter, always telling jokes, and enjoyed making people smile.
He is survived by his brother, John Siebach, as well as his five children: Casey (Kyle) Walker, Ryan Long, Laury (Jake) Palmer, Krista (Evan) Long-Newby, and Wade (Missy) Long. He also has 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is reunited in death with his parents, Gerhard and Bertha Siebach. We will forever honor his memory and remember his kind, gentle, and humorous personality. We will love and miss you always.
His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah.
