Albert Fredrick Perschon has gone fishing to that favorite fishing hole in heaven. He passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, and has joined his sweetheart, Elvira. Albert was born Nov 6, 1932, to Walter H. Perschon and Bertha Zaugg in Salt Lake City, UT. Albert was married to Elvira Wille in the Salt Lake Temple on March 21, 1958.

Albert was a Master Electrician and worked for many companies and on many projects. Later he was a partner in Tri-Western Associates. Albert was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a young missionary in Switzerland and with Elvira at Martins cove from 2005-2006. He taught his faith and devotion by example.

Albert and Elvira raised 6 children in Millcreek and Holladay Utah. His real passions in life were hunting, fishing, boating, traveling and gardening.

Albert Perschon is survived by his children Rodney (Nancy) Perschon, Rosi (Werner) Haidenthaller, Myron (Karma) Perschon, Lucinda (David) Fischer, Danette (Larry) Horkley. He had 28 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Richard (Kathleen) Perschon and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death sweetheart, Elvira and his youngest daughter Rochelle. As well as his parents, his siblings, David Perschon, and wife Hazel, Lois Jones, and husband Dean, Mary Joyce Walkenhorst, and husband William (Bill).

A viewing will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
