David William Slimp, 80, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Arrangements are under the care of Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home.

My name is Randy Dill, and I worked with Dave in the Maintenance Department at the College of Southern Idaho.
Dave was a skilled Craftsmen in our Department, very skilled in all things Carpentry. He crafted many, many things that are undoubtedly still providing use for employees and students working and learning at the College of Southern Idaho to this day and into the future!
Along with his considerable skills as a Carpenter, Dave was also a friend to everybody in our Department. We all missed him when he retired. As you know, retirement comes to us all and we wished him well when it was his time to leave the Department at his retirement.
I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Dave's family, and wish for peace for you all, in his passing. He was a good man.
