Mr. David S. Smith, Jr.
Mr. David S. Smith, Jr., a resident of South Williamsport, died Monday, July 31, 2023, at The Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport, PA.
David was born on January 18, 1977, in Huntingdon, PA. He was the son of the late Eugene M. Smith of Huntingdon, PA. And Susanna Carolus of Mount Union, PA.
David was a long-time resident of Mount Union. David moved to Lewistown, PA., about five years ago and just recently moved to South Williamsport with his son, Dylan.
David liked the outdoors, especially fishing (Trout and Cat Fish), playing shuffleboard at the American Legion Post, playing pool, enjoyed gambling on the PA SKILLS machines. He was an Eagle's fan and also loved talking about the Atlanta Braves. He loved spending time with his family the most. David was a loving and caring brother and Dad.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his four sons, Dylan R. Smith of South Williamsport, PA.; Zachary T. (Laura) Smith of Mount Union, PA.; Bryce A. Smith of Lewistown, PA.; and Caelan J. Smith of Huntingdon, PA.
Two brothers and one sister also survive David.
In addition to his late father, David is preceded in death by his brother Charles Smith.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, followed by a Memorial Service honoring David's life at 12:00 PM noon at the Noll Funeral Home. Rev. Tammy Aichner will officiate. Flowers are welcome.
