David Alan Southerland, 58, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away from this life on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Viola, Arkansas. David was born June 22, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Vonnie Lee Southerland and Betty Jane (Watkins) Southerland.
David worked as a carpenter doing construction. David loved his family, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and driving his car. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
David leaves to mourn his passing, mother, Betty Southerland; son, Jason Southerland; brother, Lee Southerland; two sisters, Teresa Smith (Nathan) and Elaine Buttino (Dan); great niece and nephew, Justin Crotts and Sarah Crotts; many other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
