David Starr Obituary
David was born October 28, 1969 in Eastland to Norris and Marie Lou Taylor Starr. He graduated from Cisco High School, and worked at Pyramid Design and Construction in Indianapolis, Indiana as a welding supervisor, but he had many trades & talents. He married his high school sweetheart Loanna Southerland. David was strong, kind, witty, selfless, giving, intelligent, honest, hard working, a very supportive family man, an excellent & amazing husband & dad. He enjoyed working, playing darts, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, beekeeping, guns & reloading, but most of all, helping others.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Starr and sister Melanie Starr Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife, Loanna; son Anthony Starr and daughter-in-law Savannah of Advance, Indiana; grandchildren Ash and Leelu Starr of Advance, Indiana; sister Tona Farrar and brother-in-law James of Benbrook; niece Taylor Butler & Cameron of Benbrook, niece Christy Maggio of Springtown; nephews Austin Farrar, Christopher Hernandez of Benbrook; nephew Robert Hernandez and Tiffany of Eastland; great niece Elaina Maggio of Springtown; great nephew Blake Butler of Benbrook; brother-in-law Ronnie Southerland of Eastland, sister-in-law Leaha Southerland of Eastland, uncles, aunts, and many cousins.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 9, 2024, at Mitchell Cemetery.
