David Edmond Steen, age 74, of Weymouth, passed away on March 12, 2023. David was born, raised, and educated in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School in 1966. After high school, David acquired an apprenticeship at the Fore River Shipyard. He married his beloved wife Patricia in April of 1969 and the two lived in Abington for a time before deciding to move to Weymouth, where they settled and raised their loving family.
David loved anything and everything to do with motorcycles. He enjoyed fixing things, attending yard sales and flea markets, and taking trips up to Wells, Maine.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Steen (McCourt), his loving children, Katherine Eaton, and her husband Michael of Weymouth, Andrew Steen, and his wife Sherrie of Weymouth, Thomas Steen, and his partner Melanie Stormm of New Hampshire. David is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild and 2 fur babies.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for David on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 1pm-4pm in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, Ma. A service for David will follow immediately after visiting hours in the funeral home.
