David E. Stilwill

DAVID E. STILWILL, age 85, was born on July 7, 1938, in Canton, Ohio and passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, Dr. Maurice E. and Catherine R. Stilwill, and is survived by sister, Jane Holland of New Mexico. Best friend and beloved husband of 37 years to Karen Newshutz Stilwill; father to Michael (Kimberly) Stilwill, Wendy Stilwill, Jeffrey (Nicole) Stilwill, Laurie Newshutz and David Newshutz. Grandfather of three and great-grandfather of two.
David is a graduate of The Ohio State University and long-time employee of The Cleveland Clinic.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate, in memory of David Stilwill, contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 425 Literary Road, Suite 100, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 (cff.org) or St. Dominic Church.
Funeral Mass is Monday, March 25, 2024 at St. Dominic Church, 19000 Van Aken Boulevard, Shaker Heights, Ohio 44122 at 10:00 a.m. The Mass will be live streamed on the St. Dominic website, stdominicchurch.net/worship/livestream Interment at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends AT THE CHURCH MONDAY FROM 9:00 A.M. UNTIL THE TIME OF MASS.
