David J. Struebel, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Born on September 7, 1950, in Buffalo, NY, David was a source of strength and laughter for all who knew him.

A graduate of Canisius College and Depew High School, David's educational foundation set the stage for a remarkable career that involved extensive international travel focused on health and safety. His professional journey was not just a job but a calling that highlighted his commitment to making the world a safer place. Alongside his professional accomplishments, David was known for his vibrant personality, characterized by a passionate spirit and a delightful sense of humor. His loving dad jokes and puns brought smiles and warmth to those around him, creating cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

David was also an avid Amateur (Ham)  Radio enthusiast, known by his call sign WB2FTX. He dedicated many volunteer hours in both New York and New Jersey, serving as a Digital Traffic Net Manager. His passion for this hobby reflected his deep-seated desire to connect with others and contribute positively to his community.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn, with whom he shared over 50 loving years of marriage. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and companionship. David is also remembered with love by his children, Trisha Adamus and her husband Jeff, and Mark Struebel and his wife Jenna Clausen. He took great pride in his family, always finding joy in their achievements and moments together.

David will be deeply missed by his siblings, Kathleen Zynda, Thomas Struebel and his wife Gina, and Gail Struebel, alongside many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins who were fortunate to know him. They carry forward his legacy of kindness and humor.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Raymond Struebel, who instilled in him the values of love, compassion, and resilience that he so generously shared throughout his life.
