Sally Di Noia, 96, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. Born in Teaneck New Jersey, Sally graduated from Teaneck High School and co-owned a beauty salon with her sister Marie. She met the love of her life Paul Di Noia while in hairdressing school and the two were married in 1950. Together they owned several small businesses, including a grocery store and a florist. Amongst all other things she was a scout leader and an avid bridge player. She also loved doing puzzles.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Denise and son-in-law Mark Ciccarelli and their two children Mark Christopher and wife Roberta Ciccarelli and their children Olivia and Monaco and daughter Nicole and her husband Eric Silcher and their children, Blake, JJ, and Emilia, Deborah Di Noia and son-in-law Christopher La Fiura and their two children Matthew and Michelle LaFiura, son John Di Noia and daughter, Jennifer Di Noia and son-in-law Charles Magnifico.
Sally loved her family and throughout her life stressed the importance of keeping family together.
A wake will be held on Monday, September 22 from 3 to 7 PM at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home at 86 Bartholdi Ave in Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday September 23 at 11 AM at Saint Anthony Church at 65 Bartholdi Avenue in Butler. Sally will be buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 10 Serpentine Road,Tenafly New Jersey.
